Forum Engineering Inc. held its welcoming ceremony at The Okura Tokyo on April 1, 2026. This year, the Company welcomed 47 new graduate engineers and 5 new graduate staff employees.
At the ceremony, Representative Director and President & CEO Tsutomu Sato delivered a congratulatory speech and handed the Letter of Appointment to the representative of the new employees.
Mr. Sato stated that Japan is undergoing a definitive transformation into a fundamentally different society, driven by a declining population, the rapid evolution of AI, and post-pandemic social shifts. He emphasized that "technology" is the driving force behind this change.
"Out of Japan’s working population of 60 million, only 600,000 are manufacturing engineers," Mr. Sato continued. "Just one in a hundred people, yet these engineers make life more convenient and prosperous for people all over the world." He explained that the role of an engineer is indispensable to society and expressed his high expectations for the new employees, noting that the path they are embarking on will create immense value.
